Hello to all of our Louisa West families,

                The STAR Reading and Math Testing window opens on Monday, March 16, 2020 and closes on Friday, March 27, 2020.   This is a very important time for our students and our school.    Please make sure your child gets a good night’s rest, gets to school in plenty of time to have a hearty breakfast, and is ready for a great day.     We will host Parent Data Night the week after the window closes. 

Some data for Louisa West parents to consider:

Kindergarten Expectations:  

Guided Reading Level should be a C in February.

                                                                End of Year Minimum on Early STAR:  655 Scaled Score

                                                                End of Year Proficiency Goal on STAR Math:   361 Scaled Score

First Grade Expectations:

                                                                Guided Reading Level should be a G/H in February.

                                                                Early STAR:   775 by Christmas, 2019.

                                                                End of Year STAR Reading:  168 – 262 Scaled Score

                                                                End of Year STAR Math Proficiency Goal:   450 – 554
