The ABA2 program aims to develop, expand, and diversify Registered Apprenticeship Programs. Currently, 31 students at LCHS are enrolled in this initiative, gaining valuable real-world work experience. Through this program, students can acquire essential job skills, enhance communication skills, and improve social interaction in a professional environment. Participants can build confidence, manage tasks effectively, and boost long-term employability.
Mr. Sparks, the LCHS Career Support Specialist, is committed to ensuring our students have access to apprenticeship opportunities. Mr. Sparks shared, "It was an honor to host the ABA2 Regional Network Meeting with our local participating schools. Our public affairs apprentices did an excellent job of highlighting our program here in Lawrence County. It's inspiring to witness the successes we're achieving and to have the opportunity to collaborate with other schools in this initiative."
The ABA2 program is instrumental in providing career readiness and equipping our LCHS students for future success! #LCisHome
