Today, July 31st, marks a significant milestone as we bid farewell to two dedicated individuals who have served Lawrence County Schools.

Mr. Feltner expressed, “I want to thank God for the opportunities He has provided me. Being here for 27 years has been a true blessing. I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with so many wonderful people. This has been an amazing place to work, worship, and raise my children. I’m excited for the next chapter in my life and what the Lord has planned for me.”

It's That Time of Year! In just two short weeks, LC Schools will be welcoming students back into our buildings! The first day of school is set for **Wednesday, August 13th**! Please remember to register your child for the 2025-2026 school year!

It is that time of the year! Online registration is now open for all students attending Lawrence County Schools in the fall of 2025! If you have any difficulties, please contact your school for help. Remember, the first day of school for students is set for Wednesday, August 13th!
There will be a student meeting today (Thursday 7/10/25) at 6 PM in the LCHS football locker room for students interested in playing h.s. football. Practice will begin Monday (7/14/24) at 8 AM at the high school field. Students must submit an updated physical prior to practice.

Lady Bulldogs made history—State Semi-Finalists in KY Softball Tourney! Top 4 overall, top 3 among public schools statewide. Fell 7–2 to Assumption, but played with grit, heart & class. 2 named All-Tourney! So proud of that red & black dot in East.

Our LCHS Lady Bulldogs are headed to John Cropp Stadium for their first-ever appearance in the Final Four of the KHSAA Softball State Tournament — and we want the whole community to help send them off in style!

Congratulations to the LCHS Lady Bulldogs Softball team, who made school history by becoming the first softball team to enter into the final four brackets for state competition! Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Bailey Thompson Engle, a 2019 graduate of LCHS and a student of Fallsburg and Louisa Middle School. Bailey is a graduate of Butler University located in Indianapolis, IN. She completed her Doctor of Medical Science degree. Bailey is currently working as a physician assistant in a Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) practice.
Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Lillian Bowen, a 2019 graduate of LCHS and a students of Louisa West and Louisa Middle School. Lillian is a graduate of the University of Pikeville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a minor in Social Work. Lillian is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work.
Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Adrian Webb, a 2022 graduate of LCHS. Adrian is a 2025 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She was awarded a full ride to college by applying and being selected to receive the Diederich Scholarship!
Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Mary Spears, a 2016 graduate of LCHS. Mary is a 2025 graduate of Marshall University with a Master's Degree in Business Administration and concentration in Human Resources Management. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Marshall University in 2023 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Communication Studies, Spanish, and Management. Mary is currently employed as the Human Resources Director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
