Today, July 31st, marks a significant milestone as we bid farewell to two dedicated individuals who have served Lawrence County Schools.

Mr. Colvin shared, “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work at LC Schools for the past 27 years. Being a Bulldog has brought me joy throughout my life!”

Mr. Feltner expressed, “I want to thank God for the opportunities He has provided me. Being here for 27 years has been a true blessing. I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with so many wonderful people. This has been an amazing place to work, worship, and raise my children. I’m excited for the next chapter in my life and what the Lord has planned for me.”

We extend our warmest wishes to these two retirees! Thank you for your unwavering commitment and dedication to LC County Schools over the years. You will be greatly missed!

Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Bailey Thompson Engle, a 2019 graduate of LCHS and a student of Fallsburg and Louisa Middle School. Bailey is a graduate of Butler University located in Indianapolis, IN. She completed her Doctor of Medical Science degree. Bailey is currently working as a physician assistant in a Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) practice. Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Lillian Bowen, a 2019 graduate of LCHS and a students of Louisa West and Louisa Middle School. Lillian is a graduate of the University of Pikeville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a minor in Social Work. Lillian is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work.

Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Adrian Webb, a 2022 graduate of LCHS. Adrian is a 2025 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She was awarded a full ride to college by applying and being selected to receive the Diederich Scholarship! Congratulations to LCHS alumni, Mary Spears, a 2016 graduate of LCHS. Mary is a 2025 graduate of Marshall University with a Master's Degree in Business Administration and concentration in Human Resources Management. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Marshall University in 2023 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Communication Studies, Spanish, and Management. Mary is currently employed as the Human Resources Director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
