As the school year approaches, we want to emphasize the importance of your child's attendance. Lawrence County Schools appreciate the opportunity to work with you to provide your child with the educational foundation for a successful future, and attendance is crucial to that success. An update to KRS 159.150 as it is outlined in House Bill 611, describes steps that we are required to take for those who become habitually truant. Our goal is to work together with families in order to assist students in their educational paths and to overcome any obstacles that may affect regular school attendance. https://shorturl.at/hdxGY
