The LC GATE students participated in activity stations that involved complex problem-solving, in-depth study, and the exploration of subjects with multiple perspectives. The students enjoyed working on the various assignment activities.

Safety is always a top priority at LC Schools! Dr. Fletcher and the LC Board of Education volunteered for a safety assessment conducted by the KY Center for School Safety. The results will be used for the continuous improvement of school safety!

The Spartanburg County (South Carolina) Baptist Network, visited Blaine Elementary School to present backpacks to every student. Students were full of gratitude as they received the backpacks filled with gifts and necessities!

Introducing the LCHS Wrestling team! LCHS has not had a wrestling team compete since 2012. We are thankful for Coach Zach Botkins and Assistant Coach Josh Diamond's hard work in establishing this team. The team recently competed at the Ashland Invitational!



Louisa East Elementary School held its annual Christmas program entitled Snowed In! This program was written by LEES's new music teacher, Ms. Helton! The LEES students did a wonderful job performing in the play, drum line, and singing Christmas carols!

Congratulations to the Louisa East Elementary students whose art projects were chosen to compete in the annual KY Conservation Contest! The students brainstormed ideas based on KY subject matter before completing their final art project for entry.
