We thank Officer Powers and Officer Musick for their commitment and dedication to our students, teachers, and staff! They not only keep our schools safe, but build positive relationships with students by offering programs such as Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) for our elementary grades. It’s time to trade the snow boots for school books! Lawrence County Schools will operate on a one hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, February 11. We realize that some areas still remain impacted by ice. If your student’s bus route is affected, your driver has already attempted—or will attempt—to contact you directly to discuss alternate routes or pickup locations. You can also contact them if you have questions. We have truly missed our kids and are so excited to welcome them back! #LCisHome
