Due to forecast of ongoing high wind and rain through late afternoon/early evening tonight's LCHS football game at Estill County has been rescheduled. The game is now scheduled for tomorrow evening (Saturday Sept 28th). Kickoff is slated for 7:30 pm at Estill County.

Due to the weather forecast from the National Weather Service for heavy rains, potential flooding, and high winds for tomorrow (between midnight and 6:00 pm) Lawrence County is going to utilize NTI Day 1 for Friday, September 27th, 2024.

LC Schools sends their well wishes to our student, Gunner Stepp, a 5th-grade student from Blaine Elementary, who recently had a life-saving liver transplant. We invite the community to send Gunner get-well mail as he continues to heal at Cincinnati Children's Hospital!

FES is implementing a new and exciting enrichment program called Genius Hour! Students excelling in their studies and, with teachers' recommendation, are promoted to the program. The students work on a research-based project on a topic related to their interests!

LMS and LCHS were visited by Morehead State University's Craft Academy representative, Mr. Jeremy Webb. The Craft Academy offers qualifying students the chance to live on MSU's campus during their junior and senior years, while providing a unique environment for personal growth and academic excellence.
