The LCHS environmental class enjoyed a field trip to Blaine Creek to explore its marine ecosystem. The students received hands-on experience documenting aquatic insects, evaluating stream structure, along with determining land use and water quality.

Due to forecast of ongoing high wind and rain through late afternoon/early evening tonight's LCHS football game at Estill County has been rescheduled. The game is now scheduled for tomorrow evening (Saturday Sept 28th). Kickoff is slated for 7:30 pm at Estill County.
Reminder: LC Schools will be closed Monday, September 30th, through Friday, October 4th, for the scheduled Fall Break! We hope our students, staff, and their families have a safe and relaxing break! School will resume on Monday, October 7, 2024!
