Louisa West Elementary School's 1st-grade students' visited Noble Farms in Minford, OH for a fall field trip. The farm has lots of activities for the students, including sensory play activities. It was an exciting and fun day for everyone!

LC Bulldog Football plays the Rockcastle County Rockets in the second round of the 2023 Class 3A Playoffs! The game is hosted by Rockcastle tonight at 7:30 PM! Good luck to the LC Bulldog Football team and coaching staff! Go Bulldogs!!!

LMS hosted Bridge Day for the 8th-grade students of LMS, FES, and BES. It was a day of introductions and new faces. Many of the students felt nervous at the beginning of the day, but toward the end, had feelings of excitement for their future at LCHS!

Veterans Day programs are scheduled at each school to honor our Veterans, who have given so much to our community and country! We hope our veterans can attend or participate in these programs! We thank all Veterans for their service and dedication!

Congratulations to the LCHS on their state testing results! LCHS moved to a green-status school! The staff and students celebrated with an early morning assembly! At lunchtime, students were treated to ice cream sundaes for all their hard work!

Congratulations Fallsburg Elementary School, who celebrated their state testing results of green last week! The school staff and students enjoyed an assembly where they handed out student certificates, and enjoyed cookies with green icing, and drinks!

Blaine Elementary Character Pumpkin Contest had over 50 entries this year! Ms. Cooper, contest creator, is ecstatic about the growth in participation numbers. Ms. Slone, the art teacher, also helped older students create paper mache pumpkins!

Louisa Middle School's 6th-grade math teacher, Ms. Chicko hosted her annual escape room for her students on Thursday, Nov 2, 2023. The students used clues and problem answers to open the lock boxes and gain rewards! So much fun learning!

Congratulations to LCHS teachers, Ms. Adams and Mr. Wellman for each being awarded LCHS Teacher of the Month! The LCHS student body votes by a Google form to nominate a teacher. The teacher with the most votes receives the title and a $50 gift card!

The LCHS Bulldogs vs Knox Central Panthers at LVJR Memorial Field on Friday, Nov 3, 2023, in the 2023 3A Football Playoffs! Game time is set for 7:30 PM. All tickets are $5, due to it being a state playoff game. Go out and support the LC Bulldogs!
