LC Schools is sending out a reminder of 2022-2023 important school dates! Remember, LC Schools will not be in session tomorrow, March 8, 2023. The LCHS Girls' Basketball Team will be competing in the Sweet 16. Also, this is a reminder that school will be in session on Friday, March 10, and Friday, March 24, 2023. Also, the Lawrence County Board of Education has approved the 2023-2024 School Year Schedule!

Great things are happening at LCHS! The Civil Engineering class has partnered with the JROTC to plan/design a Raider Competition Obstacle Course! The construction of the course will be provided by the LCHS Carpentry and Heavy Equipment Operation classes!

The LC Portrait of a Graduate is a visual representation of the LC Schools and community’s vision for skills, character, and social-emotional traits that students need in school, careers, and life. It was developed by a committee of community members, business leaders, parents, and school personnel. It is based on the results of interviews conducted with both adults and students about the skills they felt a graduate truly needs. It includes the 4 R’s currently used in classrooms across LC (respectful, responsible, ready, and relationships). Attention! The 15th Regional Girls' Tournament game schedule has changed due to the impending weather forecast for this evening! LCHS girls will now play on Saturday at 3:30 PM. The girls' final tournament game will now be held on Sunday at 3:00 PM.

The LCHS Pre-Nursing Program would like to that all of those who volunteered to donate blood to the Kentucky Blood Bank! It was a great success with forty-seven donors and thirty-six usable units! Remember, blood donation helps to save lives!

Louisa West and Fallsburg Elementary Schools celebrated Dr. Seuss's Birthday on Thursday, March 2, 2023! LCHS students were invited to come in and read Dr. Seuss's many books to the excited elementary students! It was a fantastic morning for everyone!

Come out and support the LC Baseball & Softball teams on Mar 5, 2023, from 11 AM- 2 PM at the Lawrence County Extension Office. The teams will be providing a spaghetti dinner, with salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a drink for $10 per person.

LCHS Carpentry Class finished the construction on the LC Baseball storage building!
Mr. Bradshaw and his students completed the building by adding metal sheeting to the roof and the structure's walls. They did an excellent job on this project!
